As many of you will know, I am a writer and yoga teacher, and while I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in-person classes within my local community, I have always wished to combine my teaching with the written word, and it’s this (as well as caring for my family) that I wish to focus on.
So, what is this all about?
Well, many of my past students have commented about how they really enjoyed the booklets that I created to accompany my yoga courses.
And I cant tell you how much I loved to make them!
My passion for the written word and the ancient practice of yoga is combined here in The Yoga Letters, so that there is, in effect, a lesson in letter form.
A little like a book, or a magazine, but broken down into specific points, to be in tune with the year and world as it is around us, I believe The Yoga Letters has the potential to be like an anchor, andsomething of a cheerleader for the yoga journey.
The key intention, I guess, is that each letter provides the reader with something tangible to reflect upon each issue.
Filled with inspirational ideas and quotes (just like my lessons), and with access to the additional things that can make it even more possible to take (and enjoy) our yoga ‘off the mat’ (such as access to exclusive journals, recorded videos and a whole lot more), The Yoga Letters are intended to be the gentle accompaniment to your personal practice.
To help explain a little more, here are some of the key aspects of The Yoga Letters:
1. It’s a timely way to share yoga
As we all know, these are challenging times that we are living in, and finding a class that suits our diary can be tricky. However, just as many of us are now fortunate to receive teachings in a variety of convenient ways, such as online, The Yoga Letters are created to be an accessible yoga lesson, in the written word, and something that, like a book, can be referred to again and again and again.
2. We can create a beautiful community
Recreating the wonderful vibe that is felt in a yoga class, The Yoga Letters community will be a safe and inclusive space for women to reflect upon the teachings and to share their own experiences with me and with one another.
3. It’s a regular dose of uplifting yoga for a more conscious and joyful life
The Yoga Letters will aim to be reaffirming and uplifting, highlighting the power and beauty of having yoga in our lives.
If you are a paying subscriber, you can be sure that once a fortnight, on a Friday, you will receive a yoga letter, from me - something that you can refer to and reflect upon throughout your own practice.
Content will include guidance on a yoga or breathing practice that you can do at home, as well as quotes and teachings from various spiritual teachers that have inspired me.
Paying customers will also get access to all the extras, too, including:

The Yoga Letters is very much a project that is a work-in-progress, and I welcome your input in to helping me to shape it.
I am just so happy to be sharing what I love in a way that I love.
Thank you for reading this post, and I hope sincerely that you will be able to join me so that we can deepen our understanding of yoga together.
